Try Wally Lambs new novel. I forget the name, but it has to do with the Columbine shootings and the woman's prison in Niantic CT. Wally Lamb volunteered at this prison for years, and help the inmates write an anthology, of their stories. I have not read them yet, but I have read Lamb's other two books and both were great.

Fight Club is very good. I'm sure you've probably seen the movie, but books are always better. I also recommend A Clockwork Orange; it's confusing at first, but it's worth it.
